PRO, senior film journalist and the producer BA Raju passed away on Friday due to a cardiac arrest. Shiva Kumar, the son of BA Raju, confirmed this news by sharing the post on the Twitter, “With extreme sorrow and grief we would like to announce the untimely demise of our beloved father Shri BA Raju. He passed away due to sudden fluctuations of diabetes and cardiac arrest.” Celebrities like Superstar Mahesh Babu, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Samantha Akkineni, Young Tiger Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli gave their condolences on social media.
Mahesh Babu who is currently working for Sarkaru Vaari Paata, took to his Twitter and wrote, “Not able to process the sudden demise of BA Raju garu. I have known him since my childhood. We travelled together for several years and I worked with him very closely. A gentleman and professional at heart who was immensely passionate about movies. Our family meant the world to him. A monumental loss for the media fraternity and our family.”
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Megastar Chiranjeevi tweeted, “May your soul rest in peace! Raju garu, you will be terribly missed. Sending the love and strength to his son in this tough times.”
BA Raju had produced films like Vaishakam, Premikudu, Chantigadu, Manavadu, Savaal and Gundamma Gaari. Apart from handling the PR of films starring top stars like Young Rebel star Prabhas, Jr NTR, Nagarjuna and others.
