After the suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Nepotism has become the topic of debate on the social media. Shruti Haasan, the elder daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika also speaks about nepotism and says while the initial opportunity to enter the film industry was comparatively easier for her but is tough to survive in the business of cinema.
Shruti Haasan added, “I admit that the doors opened for me because of the kind of people I have grown up with, because of my parents – Kamal Haasan and Sarika. I got the movies in the film industry because of my surname, I cannot deny that. But I am a slow learner in my life. I did not know the right way of communication, and how to hustle to reach out to the right people.”
On the work front, Shruti Haasan is currently working with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in an upcoming action film Krack, in which she will be seen playing the role of Ravi’ wife. Meanwhile Bengal tiger star is playing a cop. She is also the part of Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer upcoming courtroom drama Vakeel Saab which is being helmed by Venu Sriram. Shruti Haasan is also waiting for the release of “Yaara”, a directorial venture of National award-winning filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia. Apart from Shruti, Yaara also has Amit Sadh, Vijay Varma, Vidyut Jammwal in crucial roles.
