Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ film has become the talk of the town. The upcoming project has been launched last year with pooja ceremony. The makers are still in the hunt of female lead. Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha will play the female lead but later she refuted the rumor by sharing a tweet. It has also been widely reported that Catherine Tresa will be the leading lady in Balakrishna’ upcoming film, which will be helmed by Boyapati Srinu. But now it is being heard that Catherine Tresa has also rejected Balakrishna. She is not the part of Balayya starrer. Apparently, after a lot of deliberation, Catherine Tresa has decided not to take up the role in Balakrishna’ film.
The sources say that it is true that the makers of Balakrishna starrer approached Catherine Tresa for the role of one of the leading ladies in the film under director Boyapati Srinu. However, negotiations regarding her remuneration hasn’t happened, and, as such, she has walked out from this project.
Though Boyapati Srinu wanted to cast Catherine Tresa as he felt that she would be apt for the part. But unfortunately, things did not materialize and she is not the part of his upcoming action drama, which is going to bankroll by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy. Now the makers are looking for another actress to cast opposite Balakrishna. After Simha and Legend, this is the third time, when Boyapati Srinu is going to work with Nandamuri Balakrishna. As Simha and Legend were blockbuster at the box office, expectations are high on this powerful combo.
The casting process for #NBK106 is currently underway. The film’s budget is reportedly a whopping Rs 70 Crore and it was expected to go on floors by February 2020. Balakrishna was last seen in Ruler, which was directed by KS Ravi Kumar, which was a dud at the box office.
