We have already reported that  Nandamuri Balakrishna has teamed up with mass masala specialist Boyapati Srinu for an upcoming untitled project. Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations is producing Balakrishna’ 106th film, which will be directed by Boyapati Srinu.   On the occasion of Launch event, Balayya himself had revealed that he will be essaying a powerful role in this drama. Legend star also revealed the main concept the film revolves around.  The sources say that  the upcoming film of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu has a spiritual backdrop and it will be emotional and intense at the same time. Though the backdrop of Balakrishna starrer is excellent but it’s too risky.

 Apparently, the story of this upcoming drama NBK106  has come out quite well and the team is pretty confident about its impact. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew of NBK106.

However, if the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, who is currently busy in  Yash starrer KGF 2, will be seen as the antagonist. Sanjay Dutt is said to have been already signed for the project. An official announcement is yet to be made regarding the inclusion of Balakrishna starrer. If Sanjay Dutt gives his nod, this will be his second Telugu outing. He currently shooting for upcoming much hyped movie KGF 2, in which he plays a character called Adheera.  According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers are planning to rope Keerthy Suresh to play the female lead in Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ film which has spiritual backdrop.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna has just wrapped up shooting of Ruler, which will be released on 20th December. Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film also stars Sonal Chauhan and Vedhika Kumar in the female leads.  Balakrishna starrer Ruler is produced by C Kalyan under his banner Happy Movies and it has music by Chirantan Bhatt.
