Lagadapati predicts Praja Kootami win

Lagadapati Rajagopal has given a big shock to KCR and the national media. Though the exit polls conducted by major agencies indicated a clear victory of TRS in the just-concluded Telangana Assembly elections, but former Congress MP, Lagadapati Rajagopal has said that the TRS is likely to get only 35 seats, whereas the Praja Kootami will bag 65 seats.

Lagadapati Rajagopal released the survey results to the media yesterday evening after the end of polling in the State .His Flash Survey predicted that Praja Kootami would win between 55 to 75 seats and 25 to 45 for TRS whereas he said independents would get 5 to 7 seats, BJP to win 5 to 7 seats, MIM to win 6 to 7 seats and CPM would likely to get 1 seat.

MIM : 6- 7
CPM : 1

Lagadapati Rajagopal said that money played a major role in Telangana Assembly elections and the amount involved was unprecedented. He also said that the figures might change depending on voting percentage.

Recently Lagadapati Rajagopal’s survey kicked up a controversy, when he congratulated KTR, saying that the party is likely to get 66 seats, based on a survey he conducted between 20th October and 20th November. Later he changed the figures, provoking KTR to allege that Lagadapati Rajagopal did it due to pressures from Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. KTR also posted the whattsapp chat message of Lagadapati on his twitter, which went viral.
