Vaisshnav Tej, the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej and nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi made his debut as a lead in the film Uppena, which was released last year and was a blockbuster at the box office. It was helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and has Krithi Shetty as the leading lady. Recently during an interview with comedian Ali in Alitho Saradaga, a celebrity talk show, Panja Vaisshnav Tej opened up about his romantic side and revealed that he always had a crush on senior girls.
When he was asked about his debut Uppena, to which he replied that he gave a nod for this film with the consent of his uncle Chiranjeevi. But he cried during the shooting of Uppena as he could not complete the scene even after twenty takes. He felt the burden of wasting the money of producer.
He also revealed that he faced the camera for the first time as a child artiste in Chiranjeevi starrer Shankar Dada MBBS which also had Sonali Bendre, Srikanth, Girish Karnad, and Paresh Rawal.
On the work front, Vaisshnav Tej will be seen playing the lead role in Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga which is being helmed by Gireesaaya. In this film he is romancing with Ketika Sharma.
Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga is slated for release in theatres on 2nd September.
