We have already reported that Telangana State Road Transport Corporation managing director VC Sajjanar said that RTC was in the service of the common man and would send a legal notice to the actor and to the firm promoting the advertisement. He had nothing personal against icon star Allu Arjun or bike taxi app Rapido, against whom legal notices were served in connection with an advertisement.
According to Sajjanar, the ad showed the TSRTC in a bad light. TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar also warned Rapido, the bike taxi app and Allu Arjun that he would send them a legal notice for allegedly defaming the corporation. Now, according to the latest report, Nampally court has ordered the bike taxi company to take down the commercial that features stylish star Allu Arjun. They stated that the advertisement defamed Telangana State Road Transport Corporation services by passing derogatory comments.
VC Sajjanar took to social media to celebrate his win in court, and wrote “A big jolt to rapido bike app! A local court restrained Rapido from telecasting and promoting a ‘derogatory’ commercial against and TSRTCHQ, which was featured by Telugu actor Allu Arjun.”
On the otherside, Allu Arjun will be next seen in upcoming film Pushpa: The Rise, which is slated to hit the theaters on 17thDecember.
