Plus Points:
- Performance
- Story
- Dialogues
Minus points:
- Climax
- Narration
- Emotional connection missing
Performance: Teja Sajja, does a commendable job of playing Surya in this film. He effortlessly portrays the character. Shivani Rajasekhar delivers a decent performance. She gives a sensible performance in her role. Her screen presence is also good. But the chemistry between Teja Sajja and Shivani Rajasekhar is not showcased in a proper manner. Comedian Satya does a decent job as Surya’s sidekick. Rest of the cast of Adbhutam justify their roles.
Technical: Though the movie Adbhutam has a decent subject but is spoilt with dull narration. Instead of revealing the truth behind the phone call connection, the director drags the film with a boring love story. There is not much emotional touch in the film as the characters look a bit forced. Editing by Garry Bh is just ok. Production values are fine. The BGM and songs are good.
Analysis: The director uses the beautiful theme of past and future to convey the message. The movie Adbhutam has the potential of intriguing and engrossing the audience via its theme.
