Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are planning for divorce. Finally today it has been confirmed. Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram to make her divorce with Naga Chaitanya official.
A statement was also released today where the couple- Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya has stated that they have parted ways as wife and husband. The statement also read that their friendship will continue forever.
The couple have requested the fans, media, and others to respect their separation and give them space. The statement reads: ‘To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Naga Chaitanya and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths . We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold the special bond between us. We request our fans , well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and also give us the privacy we need to move on.”
On the work front, Samantha will be seen playing the titular role in Shaakuntalam which has Dev Mohan in the lead role and Naga Chaitanya is enjoying the success of Love Story.
