Today on the occasion of Kollywood star Dhanush’ birthday, the makers of his upcoming film D43, revealed the title and also launched the first look poster. Dhanush starrer D43 is now titled Maaran, and the first look poster features the actor in an angry young man avatar, as he is seen holding a pen in one hand and smashes a person’s head on to a glass with his other hand, who is holding a gun in his hand. Dhanush’ four reflections on the shattering glass pieces, in four different expressions, are raising the curiosity among the movie lovers to know much about his character.
The makers of Maaran have brought Master girl Malavika Mohanan on the board to play the female lead role. The reports are coming that Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan are both playing journalists in this film, which is said to be an emotional action thriller. Mahendran is playing the curial role and the reports are coming that he will be playing a character with a negative shade.
Directed by Karthick Naren and jointly bankrolled by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi films.
Apart from the lead pair, Maaran also has Smruthi Venkat, Samuthirakani and Krishnakumar in the crucial roles. The upcoming film has the music by GV Prakash Kumar whereras, Lyricist Vivek and Karthik Naren are penning the lyrics.
