KV Vijayendra Prasad, the father of SS Rajamouli, is a screen writer, and director known for his works in Tollywood and Bollywood. In 2011, Vijayendra Prasad directed Rajanna which won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film. Since 1988, Rajamouli’ dad has been the screenwriter for more than twenty five films, most of which turned out to be blockbusters. He is best known for penning the story of Baahubali series, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Manikarnika which became biggest blockbusters of the year. Now according to the latest update, Vijayendra Prasad is penning the script for noted producer Dil Raju’ banner.
Dil Raju is known for producing medium budget movies in the film industry and recently he made an official announcement regarding a big budget project in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan will play the lead role and it will be helmed by Shankar of I and 2.0 fame.
The sources say that recently Dil Raju approached Vijayendra Prasad and asked him to pen a script for his banner and the screen writer gave his green signal.
Vijayendra Prasad is currently busy with multiple films as of now and one of them is a project with Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, which will be directed by SS Rajamouli.
