It is known news that Television anchor Pradeep Machiraju tested his luck as an actor in Telugu film industry with the romantic drama 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela. Now once again Pradeep Machiraju is in the news headlines. He landed in a controversy over his remark on the Andhra Pradesh capital.
He had stated in a TV show that Vishakapatnam is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Now, his comments on the ongoing Andhra Pradesh Capital issue hurt the feelings of Andhra Pradesh Parirakshana Samithi and they demanded Pradeep Machiraju to withdraw his statements. They also threatened to take legal action against him.
Following the row, the TV anchor and actor Pradeep Machiraju took to Facebook and shared a video and he apologized for hurting the sentiments of the public of Andhra Pradesh and its official capital Amaravathi. Pradeep mentioned that people had construed his statement wrongly without watching the full video. In the video clip, he issued an apology to those who were hurt by his words.
He stated that the conversation in the Television show was misinterpreted and he has no intent to hurt anyone. The TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju tendered an apology to everyone who was offended by his statement.
