Narappa is an upcoming action and revenge drama in which Venkatesh Daggubati is playing the lead role. It is a remake of Tamil drama Asuran in which Dhanush played the lead role and the movie was a blockbuster at the box office. In Narappa, the national award winning actress Priyamani is playing Venkatesh’ wife which is helmed by Srikanth Addala. We have already reported that the entire shoot of Narappa has been completed. Now according to the latest report, Venkatesh Daggubati and Priyamani starrer Narappa has completed the censor formalities and received U/A certificate from the censor board. Finally facing all the hurdles, the movie Asuran is gearing up for a grand release very soon.
The movie Narappa also has Karthik Rathnam, Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in prominent roles.
Venkatesh is also playing the lead role in Drushyam 2, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2 and a sequel to Drushyam which is being backed by D Suresh Babu. The film also stars Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, Esther Anil reprising their roles from the first part, with Sampath Raj and Poorna are the additional cast.
The reports are coming that Venkatesh starrer Narappa and Drushyam 2 will be released on OTT platform.
