The country India recorded a dip in daily cases and logged 3,741 deaths in last 24 hours, according to health ministry’s updated data on Sunday. Total Coronavirus cases have jumped to 2,65,30,132 and the total recoveries now stand at 2,34,25,467. Now according to the latest report, the director Sukumar has decided to contribute Rs 40 lakhs towards building a DOCS80 Oxygen generator plant at his hometown Kakinada to address the concerns of the Coronavirus patients.
When Sukumar came to know about the plight of patients who are struggling to get the oxygen supply and the oxygen beds nearby, Rangasthalam director decided to contribute Rs 40 lakhs towards building a DOCS80 Oxygen generator plant at his hometown Kakinada. Sukamar’s friend Anyam Rambabu who is Amalapuram Panchayati Raj DEE has confirmed the same.
Initially Sukumar had initially planned to supply the oxygen cylinders and concentrators worth Rs 25 lakhs, but later he decided to contribute another Rs 15 lakhs to build an oxygen plant with an intention of generating enough oxygen to meet the Copvid-19 patients.
On the work front, Sukumar is currently working with icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna for an upcoming directorial venture Pushpa which is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
