Radhe : Your Most Wanted Bhai movie review: Salman Khan and Disha Patani starrer Radhe was supposed to release on the occasion of Eid in theaters but due to the lockdown and second wave of Coronavirus, the makers decided to release the film on OTT.
Story: Radhe is all about the turf war between Mumbai’s drug lord Rana (Randeep Hooda) and a suspended cop (Radhe). To nab Rana, Radhe was brought by the officers and how does he handle the situation forms the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
- Performance
- Salman Khan
- Fight episodes
- Randeep Hooda
Minus Points:
- Screenplay
- Storytelling
- Dialogues
- Run time
Performance: Salman Khan is the heart and soul of Radhe and does justice to a character. His swag and bindass dialogue delivery may remind one of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s performance in the Telugu movie Paisa Vassol. Disha Patani in the role of Diya, a model and sister of Radhe’s boss Avinash (Jackie Shroff), is ok. She does not really get too much scope to perform. Randeep Hooda performance is also highlighted. His role against Salman Khan, is not an easy task. Megha Akash gets a neat role and Jackie Shroff is ok.
Technical: There is nothing special in Radhe. The Dances are superb and have been composed well. Salman and Disha Patani are a treat with their dances. The production values of Radhe are top-notch. Coming on the work of Prabhu Deva, he has only kept Salman Khan’ fans in mind and has given the audiences and his fans what they wanted. The climax chopper fight looks over the top looks funny.
Analysis: Like most of the Bollywood movies, Radhe treats its ‘heroine’ as nothing but a body on display whose sole job is to give the hero someone to fall in love with, dance with and protect.
