Miss India Movie Review:  Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, and Nadhiya starrer female centric movie Miss India is streaming on Netflix. Let’s see the story of Miss India.

Story: Manasa Samyukta( Keerthy Suresh) hails from a middle-class family and she wants to become an entrepreneur. But she along with her family relocates to USA after her brother gets a job at the American University.  She completes her MBA.  She comes in the contact of Vijay (Naveen Chandra) and starts dating him. But when he proposes to Manasa she rejects him and walks out of the house to chase her dream against the will of her family. Manasa wants to make her grandfather (Rajendra Prasad) proud and make his Ayurvedic chai recipes world famous.  She competes with the coffee tycoon of America, Kailash Shiva Kumar (Jagapathi Babu). The rest of the story of Miss India  is as to how Manasa clears all hurdles.

Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • BGM
  • Cinematography

 Minus Points:

  • Story
  • Screenplay

Performance: Once again, Keerthy Suresh  has given award worthy performance. She knows how to use performance ability. That gives her an easy entry into the cine-world and soon she starts ruling hearts of her fans. She attracts with her body language and mannerisms. She stuns all with her performance in this  woman centric movie Miss India. Credit should go to Narendra Nath for showcasing her in a stunning way.  The performance of Jagapathi Babu in the role of Kailash Shiva Kumar is appreciable. Jagapathi Babu acts with his eyes in Miss India that garners the attention. Punitha Ponnada is ok in the key role. Naresh and Rajendra Prasad are fine in the supporting roles.  Naveen Chandra is good. The rest of the cast of Miss India perform accordingly.

Technical:  Though the story of Miss India is good but the execution is below par. Coming on the work of Narendra Nath, though he sets up good scenes between Keerthy Suresh and Jagapathi Babu,  but there is no major conflict between them to fight. Miss India lacks basic emotions. The background score and Cinematography work are highlighted and are the main assets of Keerthy Suresh starrer. The editing is just ok.

Analysis: Keerthy Suresh’ performance and impeccable dialogue delivery lift the tale making Miss India a watchable movie.
