Though the state government of both Telugu States have given permission to resume the shoot of TV shows and movies but Venkatesh Daggubati is a star who does not hurry with his films. He does them at a leisure pace. And now Coronavirus cases are in full swing, he has taken a decision about postponing the shoots till December 2020.
The reports are coming that initially Venkatesh thought to join the sets of his ongoing movies by the end of this month, but now he has taken a shocking decision to skip this year. He is planning to join the sets post Sankranthi 2021.
Meanwhile Venkatesh is working with Srikanth Addala for the upcoming revenge drama Naarappa, which is a remake of Tamil film Asuran. In this film, Venkatesh will be seen essaying the role of Dhanush from the original.
Naarappa also has versatile actress Priyamani in the female lead which is jointly bankrolled by Suresh Babu and Tamil producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. The story of Venkatesh starrer is set in Ananthapuram. The rumors are rife that the movie is loosely based on the Karamchedu massacre that took place in 1985.
The reports are coming that Srikanth Addala has taken special care in executing the action part in Naarappa.
