Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna movie review: Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna starring Naveen Chandra and Salony Luthra, helmed by Srikanth Nagothi is a sensible rom-com that speaks about love and marriage in the 30s. Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna is currently streaming on Ah. Let’s see the story of Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna.
Story: Bhanumathi(Salony Luthra) is a 30-year-old software engineer , who has a bad break up. Soon a guy named Rama Krishna(Naveen Chandra) joins as her assistant. The modern and independent girl Bhanumathi gets even more upset because of small-town guy Rama Krishna’s behavior. How the two people with different backgrounds and ideologies fall in love fall in love forms the story.
Plus Points:
- Salony Luthra performance
- Naveen Chandra
- Narration
- Execution
Minus Points:
- Hurried Climax
- Second half slow-paced
Performance: Salony Luthra, in the role of a woman who hates mediocrity, has given her powerful performance that holds the film together. In the role of 30 years woman Salony Luthra, who gets frustrated with her breakup, how she develops a love for a small town guy, she has done it superbly. Naveen Chandra’ portrayal of Ramakrishna is fine. Once again Naveen Chandra has proved that he is a fantastic actor. His body language, dialogue delivery, and innocence in his eyes, are superb. Raja Chembolu as Salony Luthra’ first boyfriend is ok. Viva Harsha gets a good role after a long time and he nails it. Rest of the cast of Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna performed accordingly.
Technical: The story of Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna is simple but interesting. The music by Shravan Bharadwaj and Achu Rajamani’s background score are another highlight of the film. The cinematography and the production values are the main assets. The movie is showcased more from the heroine’s side. There are many scenes that show the heroine falling for the hero but the director Srikanth Noagothi should have added scenes to showcase the feelings of the hero towards the heroine.
Analysis: Coming to the director Srikanth Noagothi, he has done a good job with the film Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna. Though the story is simple, but he has a good grip on sensibilities. Except for some flaws, Bhanumathi and Ramakrishna is a decent attempt.
