Surender Reddy has won many appreciations for his work in Syeraa Narasimha Reddy which has Mega Star Chiranjeevi playing the titular role. The movie is based on the life of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Though the movie is unsuccessful outside the Telugu States, it is praised for its grandeur, world-class war sequences, huge cast, and crew. After the release of Syeraa, Surender Reddy has been in talks for a couple of projects.
It is said that the star director has prepared a script for Prabhas, but the Saaho star asked for a year to get free from his current project. Next, he narrated a line to Varun Tej and Allu Arjun as well. Now, according to the latest update, Surender Reddy is going to direct Akkineni Akhil for his next. The Akkineni hero is now busy with his fourth film Most Eligible Bachelor which is set for release very soon.
Though Akhil has done three films to date, the hit has been evading him. So he is again moving towards an action entertainer. As Surender Reddy is known for his stylish films, Akhil has thought that Surender Reddy is the right choice at this point. We have to wait and see whether this project will materialize or not.
