Jaanu Collections: Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand starrer romantic drama Jaanu, was one of the much hyped movie of Tollywood, which was released on 7th February 2020 and received positive response by the movie lovers from all the corners. According to the traders report, Jaanu has collected Rs 3.16 crores shares at the box office of both Telugu States – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in 2 days.

Jaanu is an official remake of the 2018 released Tamil blockbuster 96, starring Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi. The theatrical rights of romantic and emotional drama Jaanu were sold for a whopping Rs 21 Crores, so the movie needs to perform extremely well at the box office to reach the break-even mark.
The lead actors, Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni are being widely appreciated for their performances in the romantic drama. Samantha Akkineni plays the titular character Jaanu, which was portrayed by Trisha Krishnan in the original.
