After the Telangana government, Andhra Pradesh government has also granted permission to hike the ticket rates for the upcoming Sankranthi releases. This move will hugely benefit Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru, and Stylish Star Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, Rajinikanth starrer Darbar and Nandamuri Kalyanram starrer Entha Manchivaadavuraa. Anil Ravipudi’ directorial venture Sarileru Neekevvaru and Trivikram Srinivas’ Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo are the most sought after films for upcoming Sankranthi season. Both the movies have completed the censor formalities and are gearing up for grand release.
Now everyone is expecting that Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun starrers Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo respectively, will open with record collections on the 11th and 12th respectively.
Single screen tickets can be increased up to Rs 200 whereas multiplex ticket rates can be increased up to Rs 250 in Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, the ticket rates will be Rs 150 and Rs 200 for single screens and multiplexes respectively. Apparently, the final call on the ticket rates is up to the distributors of the respective movies.
Sarileru Neekevvaru has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead and has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. The pre-release event of this film is taking place today and Megastar Chiranjeevi is gracing the event as Chief Guest. On the other side, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has Aravinda Sametha fame, Pooja Hegde, in the female lead and the music by Thaman.
