Aaviri Movie Review: Ravi Babu is back with yet another drama Aaviri, which has hit the theatres today on 1st November. Let’s see how the movie is.

Story: Rajkumar Rao (Ravi Babu) is living with his wife Leena (Neha Chauhan) and kids. But unfortunately, one of their kids die of Asthma attack and the other girl starts experiencing the supernatural phenomena in the house and goes missing. What happens next? form the rest of the story of Aaviri.

Plus Points:

· Climax
· Twists
· Suspense filled scenes

Minus Points:

· Screenplay
· Narration
· logic-less scenes
· Editing

Performance: Ravi Babu does a good job in the role of a father, who juggles work and home. The performance of Neha Chauhan as the grieving mother is melodramatic. Her possessed act is laughable too. The little girl, who played the role of a younger daughter did a good job as her expressions are very good. Hushaaru Priya Vadlamani performed well. She acted her part impressively in the limited screen space. Ravi Babu, Bharani Shankar, Mukhtar Khan are ok in their given roles.

Technical: This time Ravi Babu came up with a horror flick based on invisible spirits. But his screenplay lacks grip and the narration is not brisk. The movie Aaviri has too many logicless scenes. The horror elements in the film are not handled in a proper manner and it looks like comedy spoofs. The film’s pace tests the patience of the audiences. The production values are good. The background music of the film Aaviri is okay to an extent. The Cinematography work is impressive as the color combinations in the house offer the audience a fresh feel. Though the story-line line of the movie is good the execution is horrible. There is a number of illogical scenes that spoil the entertainment level.

Analysis: Aaviri offers nothing new, especially if you have seen Ravi Babu’s previous offerings.
