Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently active in Bollywood, will be seen playing a crucial role in the upcoming Hindi movie Marjaavaan. Apart from this, she will also be seen shaking her leg for the item song. Finally the hot diva Rakul Preet has turned item girl for Marjaavaan. Today the makers have released the dance number from Marjaavaan, titled Haiya Ho. Rakul Preet Singh is seen wooing Sidharth Malhotra’s character, Raghu, in a bar.
Coming on the video, Rakul Preet Singh is performing in a modified white sari which also has stills of Raghu crying for his mute girlfriend, essayed by Tara Sutaria.
Rakul Preet Singh will now raise the glam quotient in her sensual sizzling avatar in the song ‘Haiyaa’ in Marjaavaan. The song ‘Haiyaa’ is a recreation of the iconic song in Feroz Khan starrer Dayavan, which was shot in late Vinod Khanna, Feroz Khan, and Ramya Krishna. The makers said that the song Haiyaa talks about love and loss, and has Sidharth and Rakul Preet Singh in it. Rakul Preet Singh rehearsed a lot with choreographer Adil Shaikh.
The song is crooned by Tulsi Kumar and Jubin Nautiyal, and the lyrics and music are by Tanishq Bagchi. The original song was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal and the lyrics by Indeevar.
Earlier the makers have revealed the trailer of the film which was well received by the movie lovers. ‘Marjaavaan has high octane action scenes set in the backdrop of an eternal love story. The film has Sidharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film Marjaavaan will hit the screens on 15th November. The upcoming film ‘Marjaavaan’ will see Sidharth Malhotra-Riteish Deshmukh face off for the second time after their first successful film ‘Ek Villain’. This is the first time, Riteish Deshmukh is playing a dwarf.
