Upcoming Maharashtra elections are turning as a hot topic these days. From the last few weeks, there was a huge noise between the Shiv Sena, on seat-sharing for this upcoming election which is scheduled on October 21st. Now, from the latest update, it was known that for the upcoming Maharashtra polls, BJP and Shiv Sena has compromised themselves for the seat-sharing, reportedly.
Reports say the agreement was made between Sena and BJP for which they will be abiding. The agreement between them reads Sena will be contesting in 126 seats out of the 288 seats and on the other hand, the BJP would be contesting in 144 seats, reportedly. Whereas, the left 18 seats out of 288 would be given for others. Surprisingly, BJP has accepted to give off the deputy chief minister position to Shiv Sena. Close sources reveal that the meeting and the agreement were sealed after the BJP senior leader has chaired the meeting.
The leaders that were present in the meeting are, BJP working president JP Nadda, Maharashtra Chi.ef Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union minister Nitin Gadkari, and party general secretaries Bhupender Yadav and Saroj Pandey at the party headquarters in Mumbai.
The official announcement on the same would likely be made in Mumbai on September 29.
