Jessie was released with Raai Laxmi starrer horror comedy movie Where is The Venkatalakshmi on 15th March 2019, and received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day. Even as reviews for the movie were average, the film made it to the web in a pirated form, as website Tamilrockers leaked the film, which shocked and surprised many. It can affect the business of the movie. The leaked version of horror thriller drama Jessie is reportedly of good audio and video quality.
Jessie starring Abhinav Gomatam, Atul Kulkarni, Kabir Duhan Singh, Pavani Gangireddy, is a small budget movie. It is directed by V Ashwani Kumar and is produced by Shweta Singh. As the full movie has been leaked online, its box office collections are likely to be affected.
This is not the first time that the website Tamilrockers has leaked cinema online. Actor Vijay’s Sarkar , Rajnikanth’s Petta and 2.0, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan’s NTR Mahanayakudu, and Mammootty starrer Yatra were also illegally released by Tamilrockers and now this time Jessie.
