Drunkard Hungama in Romantic? The talented and creative film maker Puri Jagannadh is currently busy in his upcoming production venture Romantic, in which his son Akash Puri is playing the lead role. Now the makers have roped a popular Bollywood actor Makarand Deshpande to play the key role in this upcoming film Romantic. We have already reported that recently Puri Jagannadh brought Bollywood bold babe Mandira Bedi on the board to play the crucial role and this time they roped Makarand Deshpande who is popular for playing drunkard, wayfarer, and comic roles. It seems this time audiences will get a chance to watch drunkard hungama in Puri Jagannadh and Akash Puri’ Romantic.

Romantic will be Mandira Bedi’ second Telugu film. She will be making her debut in Tollywood with Prabhas’ Saaho, which is currently under production.

Makarand Deshpande is also well known face for Telugu audiences as he has been the part of several Telugu movies as Jalsa, Ek Niranjana and Mogali Puvvu. The makers are tight lipped about his role in the movie and not ready to reveal anything. Delhi beauty Ketika Sharma is on the board to play the love interest of Akash Puri in Romantic.

Makarand Deshpande’ journey in theatre started in the year 1990 at Prithvi Theatre with support from Sanjana Kapoor. He started Ansh Theatre Group in the year 1993, along with Kay Kay Menon, who remains one of the pillars of the group. Makarand Deshpande has also been the part of TV serials like Circus, Devta as Suraj, Filmi Chakkar as Papa Natekar, Waqt Ki Raftaar, Sialaab, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, and Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha.

Akash Puri starrer Romantic is being directed by Anil Paduri and jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur.
