On Thursday Night, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) released a list of 126 candidates for the 11th April assembly elections, which includes Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who will contest from Kuppam constituency while his son, IT Minister Nara Lokesh will fight from Mangalagiri constituency. On Saturday night Telugu Desam Party (TDP) released the second list of candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2019. The list features names of candidates from Srikakulam, East Godavari , West Godavari, Krishna, Kurnool and Ananthapur among others. With the development, Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu is yet to name candidates on remaining 34 Assembly segments. TDP is aiming to win around 150 out of the total 175 seats in the Assembly.

Sunil Arora, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Sunday in New Delhi announced the elections for 175 Assembly seats and the 25 Lok Sabha seats in AP will take place on 11th April in a single phase. The results of the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls will be announced on 23rd May.
