Regina Cassandra score one more flop with her lesbian character

Regina Cassandra made her Bollywood debut with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which is turning out flop at the box office. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga was released last Friday and according to the traders report, the collection report of Regina Cassandra starrer is below par. After two days, it has earned Rs 7.95 crore. It collected Rs 4.65 crore on the second day.

The trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on his twitter, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga had a lacklustre start, but picked up at select urban centres towards evening… Growth on Day 2 and Day 3 essential for a respectable weekend total… Fri ₹ 3.30 cr [1500 screens]. India biz.”

 He again tweeted, “#EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga shows an upward trend [at metros specifically], but Day 2 growth should’ve been more since Day 1 was low… Growth on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 40.91%… Day 3 + weekdays crucial… Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 4.65 cr. Total: ₹ 7.95 cr. India biz. #ELKDTAL”

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is facing very tough competition with Kangana Ranaut starrer  Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri – The Surgical Strike. It remains to be seen whether Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will gain enough word-of-mouth to beat Manikarnika and Uri over the weekend and beyond.

Also starring Sonam kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar. The movie deals with a same-s*x relationship.

 Regina Cassandra is playing the love interest of Sonam Kapoor in this film.  Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga marks her Hindi debut but unfortunately, the traders are expecting that the movie will turn out commercially flop at the box office.

In Tollywood, Regina Cassandra was last seen in Natural star Nani’s production venture Awe.
