Rajamouli and his son Karthikeya caught Samuthirakani

It is known news that SS Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya is testing his luck in production field. Few months ago, he announced his upcoming production venture  Akashavani, which is being directed by Ashwin Gangaraju who has assisted Rajamouli for both the parts of Baahubali. Recently Rajamouli roped Tamil actor Samuthirakani to play crucial role in his upcoming directorial venture RRR in which young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan are playing the lead roles. Now according to the latest update, Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya has also caught Samuthirakani for his production venture Akashavani to play key role.

The sources close to Samuthirakani revealed that the actor has already started the  shooting for his portions in Hyderabad where the filming of RRR is underway. And as this is in progress, he signed his second upcoming  Telugu film and this too has a Rajamouli connection. He has been signed on to play an important role in Aakashavani which is being produced by SS Karthikeya, son of SS Rajamouli.

Samuthirakani will make his screen presence in a rustic look in the film which is said to be yet another period drama. Besides Tamil actor, Samuthirakani, Akashavani stars number of new actors who hail from the theater circles in Telugu states.

The upcoming movie Akashavaani has music by composer Keeravani’s son Kaala Bhairava. Last year on 21st November, SS Karthikeya shared the first look of Akashavaani  on his twitter and wrote, Who’ll be the happiest person than me at this moment…. Very happy that my boys @ssk1122 & @KaalaBhairava7 debuting as a producer and a music director with the #Aakashavaani. Directed by my former assistant @AshwinGangaraju. Good luck to the entire team (sic)”

 On the otherside, Samuthirakani is waiting for the release of his upcoming multilingual movie Kitna in which  Dhansika is playing the female lead.
