Hindi Temper crosses Rs 100 Cr Mark

Simmba, Rohit Shetty directorial venture  refuses to slow down anytime soon. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan has crossed Rs 100 crore mark. When the makers released the trailer of Simmba, everyone compared the movie with its original version Temper and trolled Ranveer Singh. But Rohit Shetty who knows the pulses of masses, has once again proved himself at the box office. Simmba is remake of Telugu movie in which Young Tiger Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead role.

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba closed 2018 with a bang. The movies has crossed  Rs 100 crore mark on its Day 5. The cop based drama, was released on 28th December 2018 and received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics everywhere. On its opening day, Simmba earned Rs 20.72 Cr and  the film became Ranveer Singh’s highest opener. The actor’s previous offering Padmaavat, the directorial venture of Sanjay Leela Bhansali had managed to mint Rs 19 Cr on its first day.

The Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the collection figure of Simmba on his Twitter and captioned it, “#Simmba starts 2019 with a big bang… Runs riot at the BO on Day 5 [1 Jan 2019]… Is truly UNSTOPPABLE… Ranveer’s fourth film to cross ₹ 100 cr mark… Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr. Total: ₹ 124.54 cr. India biz.”

Taran Adarsh further  wrote, “While #Simmba is a massive success, it’s having a dream run in Mumbai circuit… Nears ₹ 50 cr mark in *5 days* in Mumbai circuit alone… An EXTRAORDINARY feat…
Fri 7.77 cr… Sat 9.11 cr… Sun 12.13 cr… Mon 8.16 cr… Tue 9.48 cr… Total: ₹ 46.65 cr. Mumbai circuit biz.”

Simmba is Sara Ali Khan 2nd  film this year, she made her Bollwyood debut with Kedarnath.
