
Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba closed 2018 with a bang. The movies has crossed Rs 100 crore mark on its Day 5. The cop based drama, was released on 28th December 2018 and received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics everywhere. On its opening day, Simmba earned Rs 20.72 Cr and the film became Ranveer Singh’s highest opener. The actor’s previous offering Padmaavat, the directorial venture of Sanjay Leela Bhansali had managed to mint Rs 19 Cr on its first day.
The Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the collection figure of Simmba on his Twitter and captioned it, “#Simmba starts 2019 with a big bang… Runs riot at the BO on Day 5 [1 Jan 2019]… Is truly UNSTOPPABLE… Ranveer’s fourth film to cross ₹ 100 cr mark… Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr, Tue 28.19 cr.
