Director Kovelamudi Prakash will be seen essaying the role of his father K. Raghavendra Rao in NTR biopic, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing titular role and will make his screen presence as Sr NTR.
Kovelamudi Prakash made his debut as a lead actor with the movies Neetho and Morning Raaga (2004), subsequently went on to make his directorial debut. Now once again he is making his comeback in acting field.
Almost after 14 years, Kovelamudi Prakash is making a comeback to acting with NTR biopic. K. Raghavendra Rao and NTR shared a great camaraderie, and the former directed the latter in several blockbusters.
As K. Raghavendra Rao has a significant role to play in NTR’s cinematic journey, the film unit has been searching for a suitable cast to play K. Raghavendra Rao. And now finally they roped Kovelamudi Prakash.
It is known news that Kalyanram is also playing the role of his father Harikrishna. And now Kovelamudi Prakash has also got the opportunity to essay the role of his father. Sumanth is playing his grandfather ANR, Rakul Preet Singh is essaying late actress Sridevi, Nithya Menen as Savitri, Baahubali star Rana Daggubati as current Chief Minister of AP Chandrababu Naidu.
NTR biopic is being bankrolled by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri whereas the movie has the music by MM Keeravani. , NTR Kathanayakudu is slated to hit theaters on 9th January 2018.
